      Rep. Kirk Lands Spot on Key Committee, Meets With Daley, Takes No Public Position on O’Hare

·      Kirk declined the previous day to say whether or not he supports a third airport in Peotone, or favors expansion of O’Hare airport.  Kirk is the lone representative on the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee’s Aviation Subcommittee from the Chicago suburbs.
